4 Killed, 16 Injured in Chain Crash in Bulgaria

Four people, a mother and her child among them, were killed in a heavy chain crash on the road leading from the Predela region to the Bulgarian town of Blagoevgrad on Monday.

A total of 16 people were injured. Two of them are children, whose condition is very critical. Both of them are in coma.

The hellish crash occurred between six cars and two trucks. The collision was caused by one of the trucks, which could not stop on time and hit one of the cars, according to preliminary information.

The traffic in both directions is still heavily impeded.

The traffic police are now investigating the case.
