Russian President Putin's Wife Opens Teachers Forum in Bulgaria

The wife of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ludmila Putina, is to open a congress of the International Association of the Teachers in Russian language and literature in Bulgaria's seaside city of Varna on Monday.

Russia's first lady, accompanied by Zorka Parvanova, wife of Bulgaria's president, are to visit Sofia University, where a ceremony for naming Russian text centre after Academician Viktor Vinogradov will be held.

Ludmila Putina is scheduled to stay in Bulgaria for two days.
