High-speed maniacs will be given the opportunity to enjoy watching as well as riding F1 and retro cars at the tree-day Speed Fest 2007, which was opened Friday in Sofia's Boyana neighbourhood.

Fans will have the chance to travel next to Bulgaria's greatest rally stars.

Special guest of the event will be Bulgaria's Formula 3000 competitor Vladimir Arbadzhiev, whose car will be showed to the public later on Friday.

The visitors will also take the pleasure of luxurious cars' parade, where the best models of brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche are to be presented. The exposition's value is set at BGN 5 M.

The parade will be followed by a retro cars show, organizers said.

Representatives of the best audio tuning companies in Bulgaria are to take part in a tournament, which will be held for the first time during the fest.

Reporters are to compete in a two-day carting rally, organized by Bulgaria's state tobacco monopoly Bulgartabac.
