The Bulgarian Red Cross celebrated the World First Aid Day on Saturday with exhibition exercises in capital Sofia.

Volunteers trained by the organization showed passers-by how to offer first aid in a number of situations - following leg breaks, bleeding injuries or getting people out of crashed cars.

The exhibition exercises are held in front of Sofia's National Palace of Culture.
