Bulgarian capital Sofia will host a one-day metal festival, dedicated to the 20th anniversary since the foundation of German label Nuclear Blast, as well as the 12th anniversary since the label began operating in Bulgaria, on November 3.

The event will be headlined by Finnish band Amorphis, with German bands Edguy and Agathodaimon, England's Benediction and local bands Revenge Project and Overdawn also scheduled to perform.

The festival is organised by Tangra Mega Rock radio station and will be held in the Winter Palace. Tickets go on sale for BGN 35 next week.

This is the first visit by Amorphis, who released their latest album, "Silent Waters", at the weekend, to Bulgaria.

Like much of the band's other work, the album concentrates on Finnish epic poem Kalevala and tells the story of one of its heroes, Lemminkainen.
