Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov and State Administration Minister Nikolay Vassilev signed Tuesday an agreement over placing new transliteral signs in the capital's streets.

The names of the spots on the newly introduced boards will be written both in Cyrillic and Roman alphabets with an especially patented print, developed by a team from the National Academy of Arts.

The State Administration Ministry is to help Capital Municipality in setting the signs.

The signs have been made as part of a currently developed transliteration initiative.
