At least two people were killed and seven injured after a six-story building collapsed in India's city of Mumbai on Monday.

Some people may still be buried under the debris of the building, the police said.

A total of six firefighter crews and four ambulances had been dispatched to help the rescue effort. The police have already launched an investigation.

That is the fifth reported building collapse in over a month in Mumbai, which is the commercial and entertainment capital of the country.

The worst incident occurred July 18, when part of an apartment building fell, killing at least 29 people.
