ZHOTEV AND HAMPARTZOUMYAN MAY HEAD TOP BANKS

Privatization Agency Executive Director Levon Hampartsoumyan will be the new Bulbank Executive Director, several financial media announced simultaneously. Hampartsoumyan is supposed to take over Momchil Andreev`s chair in the biggest private Bulgarian Bank, as Andreev is returning to the Bulgarian branch of Raiffeisen Bank. Prior to Andreev, Bulbank was managed by Chavdar Kunchev, who is now one of the names mentioned as potential Prime Ministers. Deputy Prime Minister Peter Zhotev was announced as most probable CEO of Bulgarian Post Bank, according to banking sphere sources. Peter Zhotev, on his part, will take over the seat of Bulgarian Post Bank`s manager Vladimir Vladimirov, who recently resigned. Zhotev is still a chairman of the Bulgarian Consolidation Company, a chair he kept all the time being Deputy Pm and Minister of Economy for more than 18 months.
