US Congress adopted a new draft, which could waive visas for the citizens of the Eastern European countries.

The body supported the proposal for introducing new security measures on the US borders as well as prescripts, which would ease the including of 27 East European countries in the lifted visa regime list.

After the draft is signed by President George Bush, the State Department and Interior Security Department are to decide which of the countries meet the requirements of the visa-free system.

President Bush has pointed Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic as well as South Korea as potential candidates for getting the visas lifted.
