The year 2007 will be the hottest one in Bulgaria since 120 years, experts from the country's National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology said on Monday at a press conference.

Still, there is no chance for now that the temperatures beat the record of 44.5 degrees C.

The weather will remain extremely hot in august, when the mercury will not fall under 38 degrees, the scientists said.

The hottest august days will be between 10th and 13th.
