"California Dreamin' (endless)", the unfinished film of Romanian director Cristian Nemescu, won three awards at the Brussels Film Festival at the weekend.
The film, which remained unfinished after Nemescu's death in a car accident last year, won the Best Movie and Audience Awards.
It also received the prize of Belgian state TV Canvas, which guarantees its future screening.
Earlier this year, the film also won the Un Certain Regard prize at the Cannes festival.
It tells the story of a Romanian railway chief and local gangster, who stops a NATO train transporting military equipment during the war in Kosovo in 1999.
The transport, supervised by American soldiers, is crossing Romania without official documents, based only on verbal approval of the Romanian government, but its unexpected stop drastically changes the life in the small village.
