BULGARIANS SERBS WITH JOINT TOBACCO BUSINESS

A Bulgarian-Serbian joint venture, Vidtabac, will start a regular production of cigarettes in Paracin, Serbia, by the end of June. Machinery and equipment, owned by Bulfgaria`s Vidin BT factory, have been moved to Serbia and Bulgarian workers are now installing them, Mariana Dimitrova, director of the factory, told Bulgarian Press Agency. The name of the joint venture is Vidtabac OOD and it was registered is the name of the joint venture which was registered by the local district court in Paracin, the Vidin BT Executive Director said. Vidin BT, a subsidiary of Bulgartabac holding, is the Bulgarian partner in the joint venture, the Serbian one is MB OOD, which is a cigarette wholesale and retail trader. The authorized capital of the Vidtabac company is divided in
a ration of 80:20 between the Bulgarian and the Serbian partner, Nikolova said.
