Bulgaria-born Stanislav Ianevski, who gathered international fame with his role of Quidditch player Viktor Krum in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie, is set for a new breakthrough on the big stage.

The actor stars in the Quentin Tarantino-produced follow-up to Hostel and visited Bulgaria for the premiere of the movie.

In the blood-chilling horror Ianevski plays the role of Miroslav, as his name suggests, another Balkan character, a mysterious figure who blends the good and the evil. Vera Jordanova, a Finland-born actress of Bulgarian descent, also plays alongside Stanislav and a host of actors of different nationalities.

"I told them about my wonderful country and I believe many of the Hostel staff would love to visit Bulgaria for their holidays," Ianevski said in Sofia.

Landing a sure-to-make-you-famous role like that of Viktor Krum for his debut was more than fortunate for Ianevski, especially with the Harry Potter mania sweeping the planet. Now the actor claims he is ready for serious drama on screen. Whether this is true, only future is to tell, as his next project is kept secret. That doesn't stop him from dreaming of one day playing alongside Jack Nicholson or Angelina Jolie.

Hostel II will make its Bulgarian debut on July 12.
