Sofia may soon sport with a zero kilometre as the vanguard artist Dobrin Peychev installed special mirrors at the very centre of the city on Friday.

His project consists of installing four oval metal mirrors in the shape of the number zero on a round stone base, pointing at the four directions of the world.

The mirrors were placed at the very centre of the city, in the garden between the alley of the artists and the Military Club. The visitors can turn the mirrors towards their hometowns.

The place where the project, which will cost EUR 96,000 to be finished, is specially picked up because in 1920 it was pronounced the golden section of Sofia.

Stone benches will be placed around the unusual tourist attraction and the embassies in Sofia may bid to engrave the names of their capital cities on the benches, Peychev said jokingly.
