King Simeon II met today President Peter Stoyanov on his invitation as a winner of the general elections last Sunday. King, who won with his movement 43 of the votes and has 50% of the seats in the parliament, told journalists he is hopeful after meeting with Stoyanov. Meeting lasted over an hour. Stoyanov described also the meeting as cordial and friendly. `We stated what is ahead, the possible contacts with other political forces,` Simeon II said after the meeting. The King`s representatives took questions by the present journalists but did not name the political forces the movement will approach for a coalition government and did not mention any names of possible candidates for the positions of prime minister or parliamentary speaker. There was no mention during the meeting of the upcoming presidential elections nor of a coalition cabinet, newly elected MP Nikolay Vassilev said.
