2 Britons, Italian Driver Killed in Train Crash On Sardinia Island

Two UK nationals and an Italian driver died after two trains collided on the island of Sardinia on Friday.

About a dozen of people have been injured in the accident, local authorities reported.

Police did not give further details of the three victims of the hellish disaster.

The two trains - a freight and a passenger one - crashed between the towns of Bortigali and Birori in the central province of Nuoro.
