Bulgaria's wine knights order gave a two new vintages by Todoroff boutique winery a warm reception at a presentation dinner organized by the winery, jointly with The Lodge Hotel in the mountain resort of Borovets.
The two vintages, one celebrating the winery's five years in business and "Magic Todoroff", were well received both by Bulgarian wine knights, as well as special guest Andrew Henderson, the former chair of the English circle of wine writers.
The dinner, with a menu picked by Hilton executive chef Andre Tokev and cooked by Andrew Kasev, a chef who catered to Manchester United and Tina Turner in the past, complemented the two vintages well, wine knights said.
Ivan Todorov, the winery's owner, was the first Bulgarian to be inducted in the European wine knights order in 2005.
