Bulgaria opened 25 polling stations around the world for the first MEP vote in the country.
The most polling stations are in Germany, 4; three will be opened in Turkey and France, two in Serbia and Greece.
There is no polling station in Libya, as there are not enough applications gathered for such to be opened.
Starting May 7, all the ballots, envelopes and other documents needed for the upcoming MEP elections were distributed throughout Bulgaria and the rest of the EU member states.
Bulgaria's State Administration Ministry announced that the printing of the papers was completed by May 11 and the envelopes for the ballots successfully reached their intended destinations by that date.
Once the documents reached the municipal administrative centers, they were sorted and delivered to each polling station on May 19.
The polling stations abroad will open in less than 35 hours, the head of the interdepartmental election commission for holding the MEP elections out of Bulgaria's Borders said. The one in Peking will be the first to open its doors and the results from it will be known no later than the early afternoon hours of the election day. The polling stations in Dublin, Lisbon and London will open last.
