The foreign ministers of the countries of the Central European Initiative gathered Friday in the Boyana residence at the invitation of Bulgaria's FM Ivaylo Kalfin.
The forum is in the framework of Bulgaria's president of the Initiative.
The country is set to fulfil three main priorities during its presidency, Kalfin said. These are mainly elaboration and strategic orientation of CEI's activities, cooperation within the borders of CEI for support of the European perspective of organization's member states and harmonization of CEI's priorities with other regional organizations.
Kalfin underlined that Bulgaria will host meetings of the agriculture and transport ministers and also of the heads of the state tourism agencies.
Bulgaria will put all efforts to further strengthening of its position as a EU member state through working on all levels as a president country of the CEI and the South East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP).
