Dozens of Sofia citizens were taken aback on Monday after young actors and even children took their attention from inside of transparent polling booths.

This was the second day of an ambitious campaign to provoke the interest of Bulgarians in the upcoming MEP elections.

The "Cast your vote" campaign aims to inform Bulgarians about the role and functions of the European Parliament and encourage them to head for the voting booths in an election, which will hardly quicken the voters' pulse.

The initiative was launched thirteen days ago and has so far toured seven towns, including Veliko Tarnovo, Russe, Blagoevgrad, Varna, Plovidv.

Over the next week the makeshift polling booths will be placed at key locations across the capital - Sofia University, Southern Park, Students' town, to attract as many people as possible.
