The Sredetz hall of Bulgaria's Culture Ministry opened Monday the "Face to Face" exhibition of sculptures made of wood, glass, metal and ceramics.

The sculptures were created by the artists Nina Ivanova and Lachezar Dochev, who have been working together for several years now, uniting their creative ideas and art views.

The idea for this exhibition was born in 2006, they say. The title the exhibition goes under symbolises the art and the personal challenge in the process of joint work: inspiration and its presentation to the partner, the character of the used materials, the visual properties of the materials, etc.

The exhibition will be open for visitors until May 22 in the Sredetz Hall and in October the sculptures will be shown in Austria.
