Ibiza's Trendiest Club Amnesia Looking for Bulgarian Dancers

The house club Amnesia Ibiza challenged the Bulgarian girls by announcing it will hold an audition for go-go dancers.

The club is looking for dancers for the upcoming June-September 2007 season.

This is the first time ever that Amnesia Ibiza announced an audition in Bulgaria, which will take place on May 18 in the Military Club in Sofia. The competition coincides with the biggest music conference in South-eastern Europe - SEEME.

All girls who want to be a part of the summer experience Amnesia Ibiza must be aged between 18 and 25. It will be an advantage for the girls to like extravagant parties and the beaches in Spain. Being a professional dancer is not obligatory.

Amnesia will cover dancers' all expenses. The winners will be asked to stay at least 30 days on the island. They will have to work five or six day per week.

Amnesia, Ibiza's foamiest nightclub, is fast becoming the island's most famous venue. Year after year it attracts the biggest DJs and hosts the craziest nights. In the 2004 season, for instance, Amnesia played host to some of the island's biggest nights, including Cocoon Club on Mondays (with DJ Sven Väth), Armada on Tuesdays (with DJ Armin van Buuren), Espuma (the foam party) and La Troya Asesina on Wednesdays, Cream on Thursdays (with DJs Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and Jon Carter), and Made in Italy on Fridays (with DJ Benni Benassi).

Amnesia is situated in a renovated eighteenth-century windmill on what is now the San Antonio Road. It was only in the early 1970s that the building became a meeting place for hippies, artists and travellers, who would congregate there to listen to live music, dance and exhibit their artwork. The club was established in 1976 by Antonio Escohotado, who named the place Amnesia because it reflected clubbers' desires to go out, go crazy and forget all their worries for an evening.
