Sofia priests said a prayer for the health and success of the Bulgarian army on Friday.

The blessing took place in the St George the Victor Church in downtown Sofia in connection with the upcoming holiday of St George, which is also the official holiday of the Bulgarian army.

The church ritual was attended by Defence Minister Vesselin Bliznakov, the deputy defence ministers, the head of the general staff of the Bulgarian army Zlatan Stoykov,
generals and officers.
