A total of nine NGOs will supervise the elections for MEPs in Bulgaria, the spokesperson of the Central Electoral Committee announced Wednesday.
The Committee has registered six polling agencies, which will count the votes besides the Committee itself, Alexander Alexandrov said.
There is a probability for the double counting of the ballots to stir some difficulties, as now the people in charge must first count the votes for every party in general and then the preferential votes for every candidate in a party's ticket.
The first results will be known not earlier than 72 hours after the vote. The names of the elected 18 Bulgarians to go to the European Parliament will be announced until May 25.
