The literally unknown housewife, who shockingly defeated a hot pop-folk star in Bulgaria's second edition of VIP Brother, has no idea how to splurge the BGN 100,000 that she pocketed.

Hristina and her husband Zdravko may be more than ordinary people but they are the only family in the world to have won twice the popular reality show. Both editions, however, have been marred by suspicions of manipulation.

The happy and well-off couple vehemently denied the rumours in an interview for Darik radio.

"I was invited to join the show and accepted the offer because I wanted to get Hristina and our child Yanitsa back," Zdravko explained.

Winner Hristina joined the show later on to marry Zdravko before the eyes of Bulgaria. Her win came as a shocker since she was one of the people who clearly stated all the time that she was no star and some of the contestants referred to her as a "redneck" and simpleton.

Asked whether she plans to give part of the award for charity, Hristina said she needs to consider that option.

"I am not willing to buy boxes of wafers for kids without parents. If I am going to help somebody I want this to be one person so that I am sure I really helped," Hristina said.

Her husband Zdravko shot to popularity in 2005 after his just as unexpected EUR 100,000 victory from the first edition of Big Brother. The then-bachelor from the coastal town of Primorsko was the most flirtatious of the participants in the reality show, who kept telling housemates of his past love affairs and made unsuccessful attempts to seduce the young females in the house.

Zdravko has been rumoured to consider entering Bulgaria's political life and even vying for the post of mayor in his hometown. Another rumour that he firmly denied.
