Bulgaria is to be included in the EU electronic system for collecting state receipts from the beginning of May.
The system will enable all EU member-states to cooperate in this process.
"Using the system, Bulgaria's State Receivables Collection Agency will be able to arrange collecting duties of Bulgarians, who owe more than EUR 1500 and live abroad," the agency's Chief Director Stanislav Hristov explained.
After the same procedure, Bulgaria will take actions against EU citizens, who owe money to their countries.
About 20 EU member-states have already showed interest in the work of Bulgaria's public executives, who will attach foreigners' properties and garnish the funds on their bank accounts.
