Bulgaria with its population of 8,2 million has absolutely no chances to join EU with the first wave of countries, the German newspaper die Welt writes. The article announces that for the first time ministers from all EU candidate states participate in the EU summit in Barcelona. According to the newspaper, Bulgaria with its 28% GDP was among the poorest EU candidate states.
