The economic team of the Simeon II National Movement, which garnered 43 per cent in the June 17 parliamentary elections and 50 per cent of the parliamentary seats, called on the current government to spend wisely the budget money, to stop the privatisation for high profile deals that have been launched, as well as those for granting concessions and awarding big public procurement contracts. In Sunday`s elections Bulgaria`s citizens proved categorically their confidence in Simeon II National Movement, reads the declaration, which BTA received Wednesday. The new government can take decisions only when it comes to power, Deputy PM Peter Zhotev said. The political morals and the democratic tradition require that until the new parliament is convened and a new cabinet formed, the ministers and the administration refrain from taking decision concerning the management of state property and public finances, except in urgent cases, reads the declaration of the SNM economic team.
