Four people are still missing after an oil rig support vessel capsized in the North Sea, near the Shetland islands, BBC reported.

The Bourbon Dolphin is believed to have capsized close to an oil rig, some 75 miles off the Shetland coast. Rescuers have taken 10 people to safety, while the search for the other four crewmembers went on.

"Conditions are not too bad, hopefully the weather won't be a huge factor although you never quite know. This is a fairly hostile part of the North Sea we are talking about," Michael Mulford of the Royal Air Force told BBC.

Mark Clark, of the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency, said: "At the moment we've got a mayday signal out, with an emergency signal out with all shipping in the area."

Two helicopters and a maritime patrol aircraft were also dispatched to the location where the ship foundered.
