Bulgaria's Turkish party presented Wednesday its MEP candidates' list, in which the number of the Christians and the Muslims is equal.
The first place was taken by the former minister Filiz Hyuzmenova, currently an MEP on the quota of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms in Strasbourg.
The philologist and economist Mariela Baeva, who is also experienced in the European liberal structures, ranked second.
The third position was occupied by Bulgaria's Deputy Ombudsman Metin Kazak, brother of the ethic party's MEP Chetin Kazak, who is included in the ticket as well.
The other formation's MEP runners are the professors Vladko Panayotov, Vanya Matanova and Ludmil Georgiev, the journalist, who reads the news in Turkish of the National Television Timur Halilov, the Deputy Chairwoman of the Euroroma party youth organization Milena Hristova, the chairman of the youth party's organization Korman Ismailov, the Deputy Regional Developmen Minister Iskra Mihaylova, the MEP Nedzhmi Ali, the Parliament's Deputy Chairman Yunal Lyutfi and other MPs.
The ethnic party's leader Ahmed Dogan defined the ticket as "the strongest and the most adequate" among all, proposed by the other Bulgarian political formations.
"Even if I was a rival of the party, I would vote for its MEP runners," Dogan added.
