The famous Bulgarian singer Margarita Hranova will occupy the fifth place in the MEP candidates list of the Simeon II National Movement party, its spokesperson announced Friday.

She will take the place of Olga Borisova, who could not enter the list as she has double citizenship.

Margarita Hranova has been an active member of the Party of Bulgarian Women and is a chairwoman of the Commission on Culture in her party.

The singer has perfect command of English, Russian and German language. She was born in 1951 in the town of Sliven.

The vote for the European Parliament is fixed for May 20.
