Bulgaria became Thursday a full-fledged member of the Euro Controle Route, EU's press centre informed.
The country is an observer in the organization since the beginning of 2007, when it joined the European Union.
Bugalrian parliament adopted a project on the administrative agreement for cooperation between the bodies that control the transportation of people and loads. The parliament also authorized the Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev to sign the agreement.
The countries that were included in the agreement are: Bulgaria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom.
Document's goal is to reach and keep a high level of road safety in the automobile transport. It has to guarantee regular and reliable exchange of information, coordination of joint actions of the countries and development of programs for training of the watchdogs.
