Bulgarians and visitors to the south of the country enjoyed a nice and warm weekend as the mercury zoomed up to 23C on Sunday.

The spring-like temperatures were the highest in the towns of Sandanski, Southern Bulgaria, and hovered around 20C in the rest of the country.

The weather's warming up will continue on Monday, when highs are forecast at 18-23C.
