Director Wim Wenders arrived in Bulgaria for the eleventh edition of Sofia Film Fest, where he will receive a lifetime achievement award.
Starting February 22, Bulgarians had a whole month to see 21 of Wenders' movies that offer a refreshing change from Hollywood style blockbusters.
Along with the movies, Wenders' other sides have been shown to the audience with an exhibition of photos by him and his wife Donata. His book "A Sence of Place" was also published in Bulgaria to add another dimension to the festival.
Wenders will receive his prize at a special ceremony Monday evening.
