Sofia City Court held another sitting on the case of MP Vladimir Kuzov, who is charged with having homosexual intercourse with the 13-year-old Nikolay Kirilov in 2001.

At the Friday hearing, magistrates questioned another witness, Stefan Mladenov, who claimed he has seen Kuzov hanging around at the Poduene railway station in Sofia, proposing to homeless boys from Bulgarian and Roma to pay them BGN 2 for oral sex.

Apart from what Stefan Mladenov told in the courtroom, he dared to say few otyher things to the journalist from Darik Radio Nina Alexandrova. Here's what he said: *

Q: Do you know Kuzov?

A: I have seen him but I have never talked to him.

Q: Where have you seen him?

A: In the streets, at the Poduene station...

Q: Where?

A: At Poduene, in the borough, I have seen him in pictures twice. It was long ago.

Q: What was he doing?

A: He was just standing there, hitting on boys.

Q: How? What was he doing?

A: He proposed them...

Q: Proposed them what?

A: He offered them money for sex, the boys agreed to do it for two leva (BGN 2) only, he did them blowjobs. But I wasn't one of them!

Q: How do you know these things? You have seen it or somebody told you stories about it?

A: My friends told me.

Q: For two leva only?

A: Yes, sometimes two, sometimes a bit more.

Q: How many times has this happened?

A: Three, four times, even more.

Q: With which boys?

A: I don't know their names; I know them by face only.

Q: When was this going on?

A: Two or three years ago.

Q: You're telling me he went there alone. Is that so?

A: Yes.

Q: So he went to Poduene to the boys and then what? He wanted them to have oral sex with him or the other way around?

A: He asked to blow them.

Q: And he paid them.

A: Yes.

Q: How old were these boys?

A: 18-year-olds and younger.

Q: I ask you again, where do you know all these things?

A: People told me.

Q: People can tell you anything. Those thing may be lies.

A: They may be not.

Q: You are convinced this it the truth, aren't you?

A: Yes.

Q: Did you receive any threats as a witness on the case since it started?

A: No.

Q: Has Kuzov looked for you or somebody else on his behalf?

A: No.

Q: Your name is Stefan.

A: Yes.

Q: Do you know Zlatan and Nikolay, the boys who accuse Kuzov of paedophilia?

A: Yes. They were the one who told me these things.

Q: Do you believe them? They stepped back a bit from their initial testimonies. They got scared or what?

A: Maybe they got scared indeed.
