Is there or is there not chaos in Bulgaria's healthcare system? Some say there is for sure not just chaos but complete and total annihilation, the system is absolutely inoperative and it is falling with the speed of light in the deepest abyss that ever existed.
That is what all Bulgarian medics think. They are underpaid professionals from the highest rank, who want to help people to be healthy, but the government cannot decide on the frame contract for this year. So now the National Healthcare Fund doesn't really have a working and reliable budget, the Ethnic Turkish party and the socialists praise themselves as colourful peacocks how great a job they did on the issue and the Simeon II National Movement keep silent as always. On Wednesday's parliamentary seven-hour debates on the non-confidence vote (which was introduced because of the same healthcare system crisis) the ruling coalition just couldn't shut their mouths up and stop trying to blind me and the others as healthcare system users with their lame vainglory that everything is under control.
If the system is working perfectly then why are all these people protesting day after day? Why really sick people fear for their lives, because they don't know what will happen tomorrow? For seven hours inside the parliamentary building the MPs didn't have the time to hear the latest news. Medics will protest on a regular basis from this day on until things get better. Meanwhile all hospitalized, sick and dying patients have no other choice but pray and pray really hard. Some of them will surely die. Not that they cannot be saved, but because there is no one who will be there to do it.
Phenomenon of nature you may call this mass hearing and seeing hallucinations. One hallucinate perfect order, the other see the end of their worlds. All those who manage to stay alive can only sing along current cabinet's favorite song Perfect Chaos of the band There'snosuchband.
