Bulgaria's Agro National Union (BANU) party approved the agreement signed with the Nikola Petkov party for uniting agro parties for the upcoming MEP and local elections in 2007.
The news was announced by BANU leader Anastasia Mozer at the Saturday meeting of party's leadership.
The two organizations will cooperate in order to win at least one MEP seat for the agrarians in the European Parliament. Nikola Petkov party approved the signed agreement on cooperation between BANU, the newly-minter party GERB and the civic association European Democratic Way.
BANU is still negotiating with other centrist and right organizations in the parliament for support for the MEP lists, Mozer said.
