Bulgaria's deputy energy ministers opened Wednesday a round table, which goes under the title "Bulgaria in the European Union - new opportunities and perspectives" in the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia.
Deputy Ministers Nina Radeva and Korneliya Ninova discussed together with representatives of the business and the state administration the aspects of Bulgaria's economy policy as a EU member state.
The round table aimed at elaborating a system for using the opportunities for economic growth the country faces from January 1, 2007.
"The business must focus on the real chances that emerge from the structural funds of the EU," Radeva said at the event.
Representatives of the parliamentary commissions and the European Commission Representative in Bulgaria Michael Humphreys also took part in the discussion.
