People in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Northern Bulgaria, sweated out their warmest February 11 for the last one hundred years with highs standing at 20C.

Temperatures in the town of Pleven went up by 13C higher than the average for the season.

Weathermen say that since the beginning of the year temperatures in the Danube plain are by 9-12C up the mercury than the average for this time of the year.
