PARTS OF CLASSIFIED CROWN AGENTS CONTRACT ILLEGALLY DISCLOSED

Extracts from the contract of the Finance Ministry and the British private company Crown Agents on the Bulgarian Customs were circulated illegally by an unknown agents in Parliament. The classified information has been written on sheets of paper and put in the mail boxes of MPs in Parliament, Ivan Iskrov, chairman of the budget parliamentary committee, announced. The Budget Committee discussed the contract with Crown Agents behind closed doors last week. Minister Velchev declined to disclose the contract, citing concerns over national security.
