Bulgarian ice-skater Maria Fillipov has partnered up with Dunkan James from world-famous boy band "Blue" in the second season of ITV reality show "Dancing on ice".

"I've got the best partner!" he sighs. "She is the nicest, most beautiful girl ever. We're called the smiling couple because all we do is laugh on the ice."

The second season started on January 20 and audience votes have already eliminated one of the contestant couples. Fillipov and James, however, are gathering up speed and are considered the favourites of the show. Whether it's James' innate hotness or Fillipov's skills, the result is the two are among the best looking couples in the show.

Maria won the fist Australian edition in November last year dancing with another charmer - the most expensive Australian top model Jake Wall.

The show gathers an ice-skater with a celebrity who must become as good a professional as his partner.

The hosts Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean coach the celebrities who learn and perform different programs every week on the live Tuesday night show.

Bulgarian contestant Maria Fillipov competed in the national team from 1988 to 1992. She became a national champion in 1991. At present she lives in Australia with her husband.
