On the eve of its 14-th birthday Bulgaria's private Darik Radio wished every Bulgarian that their European dreams come true.

"The freedom to make my dreams come true" emerged to be the winning topic of a contest launched by the radio under the motto "What is my European dream".

The winner, Dancho Sirakov, lined by Darik's owner Radosvet Radev and Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov, inaugurated a plaque reading the wish at a downtown fountain, refurbished by the popular radio.

Darik Radio will have a special festive program for its audience on January 22. The celebrations will go under the motto "The difference is in the radio", and the audience will be treated to special surprises.

The company currently manages Bulgaria's leading online Bulgarian language media Darik News (http://www.darik.net ), which merged in the middle of September with Novinite.com, the biggest English language news provider in Bulgaria.
