Art connoisseurs in Sofia will have the opportunity to see the much-talked-about exhibition "The Splendour of Bulgaria" for free on January 22.

The unique exhibition was displayed in the building of the European Parliament in Brussels days after Bulgaria's accession to the European Union. It consists of 40 antique objects, dating back to the Thracian and Roman times. All of them belong to the private collection of Vassil Bozhkov, president of the Nove Holding Company.

The National Historical Museum in the Bulgarian capital will house the antiques until February 9.
