Bulgaria's rightwing MEPs put forward Wednesday their first resolution in defence of the jailed Bulgarian medics in Libya.
MEPs Philip Dimitrov, Konstantin Dimitrov, Stefan Sofianski and Martin Dimitrov are members of the parliamentary group of the European People's party.
In the resolution the MEPs on repealing the death sentence and reconsidering EU's policies on Libya. The text on the resolution was harmonized with Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry and will be introduced to all political groups in the European Parliament.
The resolution is expected to enter the agenda of Strasbourg's plenary session the next Thursday.
