The honorable consuls of Bulgaria from close to 40 countries have gathered for a two-day meeting convened by Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin in Sofia.

Bulgaria's first diplomat and the honorable consuls launched discussion on the priorities of the Bulgarian foreign policy after the country became a ful-fledged EU member and the role of the honorable consuls for the implementation of these priorities.

Within the meeting, the honorable consuls will meet Economy and Energy Minister Rumen Ovcharov, Deputy Culture Minister Ina Kileva, InvestBulgaria Agency Chairman Stoyan Stalev, State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad Chairman Denitsa Hristova and Stanislav Novakov, acting chief of State Tourism Authority.
