Right-wingers from the Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) warned that the European Commission might further restrict Bulgaria in its membership rights.

At a press conference on Friday, leader Petar Stoyanov pointed at the ineffective market control and consumers' protection.

He warned that the vacant seats in the state Consumers Protection Commission is another fact worth of concern in the eyes of Brussels.

Lined by Bulgaria's first EU negotiator Vladimir Kissyov, Petar Stoyanov said the EU membership of the country is "a historic and suffered achievement".

The Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) has launched campaign for coming MEP elections half a year before the projected date.
