Bulgaria Prepares to Launch FP7

Bulgaria's Ministry of Education and Science is preparing a conference to launch the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) in Sofia.

The event will open on January 31 and will last until 1 February 2007.

The event will feature speakers from the European Commission, and during the opening session prizes will be awarded to the most successful researchers, institutions and NCPs under FP6, the web site of Cordis announced.

Participants from all EU Member States and the Western Balkan countries are invited to take part in the event. The registration deadline is 15 January 2007.
