Bulgaria's biggest folklore ensemble Rosna Kitka made the audience in the National Palace of Culture rise on its feet Saturday night after their traditional Christmas show.
The concert is part of the Christmas and New Year holiday program in NPC, which started on December 22 and will end on January 10.
Established in 1939, Rosna Kitka Ensemble has been awarded 1st prizes at the international folklore festivals in Nice, Matta and Confolane - France, Fairfax - USA, Berlin - Germany, Tarcento - Italy, Chisinau - Moldova, Seget - Hungary.
The Ensemble has won gold medals at a number of national competitions and festivals.
The ensemble's repertoire includes 35 traditional Bulgarian dances.
For the 60 years of its work the ensemble has performed over 5,000 concerts for approximately 4,000,000 spectators on five continents. The dancers' are known in the Russia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic,Macedonia, Italy, Iran, Belgium, France, Cuba, Turkey, Germany, Holland,Greece, India, Syria, China, Mongolia, Korea, and the United States.
