Sofia Airport authorities announced preparations to meet Santa Claus this year on Bulgarian soil.
The solemn welcoming event will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the VIP Terminal.
Transport Minister Petar Mutafchiev, Deputy Foreign Minister Gergana Grancharova and head of the Bulgarian Red Cross Hristo Grigorov have prepared to be the first to welcome Santa.
The three will be the official representatives of more than 100 Sofia orphans, children of deceased officers from the Bulgarian Railroads Company and children of refugees, who will be patiently waiting for Santa.
