Italy has chosen an interesting way to mark Bulgaria's upcoming EU Accession by printing a luxurious book of photographs depicting the Balkan country's rich cultural heritage.
Italy's Vice-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Famiano Crucianelli bestowed Tuesday a thousand copies of the book and the copyrights to Bulgaria's EU Affairs Minister Meglena Kuneva.
The photo album entitled "Heritage: The cultural wealth of Bulgaria" features photographs by renowned professor Ivo Hadzhimishev and monographs by Ivan Marazov and Aksiniya Dzhurova. It illustrates Bulgaria's cultural treasures spanning from the neolith to the Medieval times and the country's revival period.
Bulgaria's Vice President Anguel Marin also received a copy of the book.
